It was the third time that we welcomed the New Year at the Grounds of PGE National Stadium in Warsaw, at the biggest open-air party of the year. The event organised by Stołeczna Estrada was called the National New Year’s Eve. Freezing cold did not scare out the massive audience. All together, there were 120 thousand people from Poland and abroad, who came to enjoy the party.

Giant stage featured top Polish artists who indeed have prepared the high-class show. LemON swayed the audience to melancholic melodies and Igor’s Herbut characteristic voice has vibrated over the area for a long time. GrubSon did not disappoint his fans – he shared incredible energy with everyone around the stage. The legendary band Perfect, which celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2015, played the well-known favourites, bringing a bit of nostalgia to the grounds of the Stadium.

Before midnight a long-waited band The Kooks showed up on stage. This time, the artists, who spent the whole year playing at international festivals, have dedicated their greatest hits to the audience of Warsaw.

At midnight, the sky above Warsaw glittered with the cascades of colours and it became the stage for a spectacular firework display, dominated by red and white. The lively show was designed to go along with music composed by young artists and music producers of Warsaw. Famous motives from Chopin’s works have become the inspiration for the show.
Just after midnight the stage was taken over by the king of electronic beats - – DJ PAUL VAN DYK who was hypnotising the audience for an hour and a half. We were feeling ecstatic while stepping into the New Year.
