Michelle Candotti

Michelle Candotti w wieku 14 lat uzyskała dyplom Konserwatorium im. Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco w Weronie, gdzie uczyła się pod kierunkiem Laury Palmieri.  Następnie ukończyła z wyróżnieniem Royal College of Music w Londynie ze stopniem magisterskim i dyplomem artysty wykonawcy.

Uczestniczyła z powodzeniem w wielu konkursach międzynarodowych, m.in. jest zwyciężczynią Konkursu dla Najlepszych Absolwentow Włoskich Uczelni Muzycznych 2009/10, czego rezultatem jest płyta CD, którą nagrała we wrześniu 2011.  Otrzymała drugą nagrodę i nagrodę publiczności w Międzynarodowym Konkursie Pianistycznym im. Aleksandra Scriabina, drugą nagrodę i nagrodę specjalną “Sir Philip Ledge Trophy” dla najmłodszego finalisty w Międzynarodowym Konkursie Koncertów Fortepianowych w Hastings, drugą nagrodę i nagrodę Klubu Rotarian dla najmłodszego finalisty w XXIII Międzynarodowym Konkursie “Roma” oraz medal Marszałka Włoskiego Senatu, nagrodę “Henk de by Junior Jury” w Międzynarodowym Konkursie Pianistycznym im. Franza Liszta w Utrechcie, trzecią nagrodę w Międzynarodowym Konkursie Pianistycznym w Bresci.  Ponadto jest laureatką I nagrody XI Międzynarodowego Konkursu Pianistycznego “Città di Firenze-Premio Crescendo”, półfinalistką XVIII Międzynarodowego Konkursu Pianistycznego im. Fryderyka Chopina w Warszawie, laureatką III nagrody i nagrody publiczności XVII Międzynarodowego Konkursu „Gran Prix Animato” w Parigi oraz laureatką konkursow w Grosseto, Brescii, Rzymie oraz Hastings. Wystąpiła z recitalami w wielu salach koncertowych, m.in. w Royal Albert Hall, Teatro Verdi Pordenone, a także w Hastings i domu rodzinnym Claude’a Debussy’ego w Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

Michelle Candotti obtained the piano Diploma with top marks while attending Verona's “Dell’Abaco” Conservatory of Verona at the age of 14 under the direction of Laura Palmieri. She also obtained with distinction the Master in Performance and the Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music.

She has participated in many piano competitions winning a number of them: among many, she won the "XV Competition for the Best Italian Musician’s Graduates 2009/10" (this led her to recording a CD in September 2011).  She won the second prize and Audience prize at the “International Piano Competition A. Scriabin”, the second prize and the “Sir Philip Ledge Trophy” for the youngest finalist at “Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition”, the second prize and the “Rotary Club Award” for the youngest finalist at XXIII International Competition Chopin Rome, receiving also the medal of the President of the Italian Senate,  the “Henk de by Junior Jury” in the International Piano Competition Franz Liszt in Utrecht, third prize in the “Brescia Classical International Piano Competition”, she won the XI International Piano Competition “Città di Firenze-Premio Crescendo”. She is also a semifinalist at the “18th Chopin International Competition” of Warsaw, third prize and Audience Prize at “XVII International Competition Gran Prix Animato” of Parigi

She has played with the “Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau”, directed by M° O. Balan, with the “Simphonic Orchestra Città di Grosseto” directed by M° G. Emilsson, with the “Royal Philharmonic Concerto Orchestra” directed by M° B. Wright, the “Orchestra of the Goldoni's Foundation” directed by M° M. Menicagli and the “Orchestra Nova Amadeus” directed by M° N.Samale.

She has featured in many recitals, playing in important concert halls like Olimpico Theatre in Vicenza, Royal Albert Hall in London, Bologna's Manzoni theatre and Mozart's room, Verdi Theatre in Pordenone Padova's Giants room, at the Sinfonia Varsovia Hall and Chopin Hall in Warsaw, Florence’s “Salone dei Cinquecento” and Hastings' Stables Theatre. As a younger student and young talent, Michelle was invited to feature in a concerto held in Debussy's natal house in Saint-Germain en Laye, Paris.

She is now studying under the supervision of M° C. Palese., with M° E. Pace at the “Imola International Piano Academy” and with M° D.Alexeev.
